Putrajaya, 14 June - Launching ceremony of MoE-Intel Elite Internship programme graced by YB Minister Dr. Maszlee Malek at the Banquet Hall Ministry of Education, Putrajaya and witnessed by the program stakeholders and Deans from partner universities.
It is a new internship programme designed to increase the employability of Malaysian graduates by giving them industry-standard and real-world exposure in the field of microelectronics, silicon design and system-on-chip.
From 250 over applications, 100 students were selected to join this program, including 6 students from UPM. The programme also includes attachment for 12 lecturers from the respective universities under an Intel Visiting Faculty Member programme and MOE AIExpert.
Together in the event were the Dean of Faculty of Engineering - Prof. Dr. Nor Kamariah Nordin, Visiting Faculty Member - Ir. Dr. Fakhrul Zaman Rokhani and 6 UPM students from the Dept. of Computer and Communication Systems Engineering:
