Engineering Accreditation Council Malaysia (EAC) 

The Engineering Accreditation Council Malaysia (EAC) is a delegated body by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as the only recognized accrediting body for engineers degree programmes offered in Malaysia. Until now, EAC has recognized 190 programmes in 26 higher education institutions (IPT) throughout the country. 

BEM has prescribed that one of the condition for engineering graduates to registered as a Graduate or Professional Engineer to possess bachelor of engineering that recognized by EAC. It is a mistake for practicing the engineering in Malaysia without registering with BEM as Graduate or Professional Engineer. All those eight (8) programmes of bachelor offered in Faculty of Engineering has been recognized by EAC.
