The prestigious ceremony held on 16 June 2025 at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Cultural and Arts Centre (PKKSSAAS) was officiated by YB Datuk Ts. Mustapha Sakmud, Deputy Minister of Higher Education. The team from the Faculty of Engineering won the Putra Innocreative Poster Competition (3 Gold Medals, 8 Silver Medals, and 2 Bronze Medals) and the SULAM@UPM Carnival 2025 Poster / Oral Competition (1 Gold Medal, 1 Silver Medal, and 1 Bronze Medal) for a total of 16 medals.

The InnoCreative Poster Competition is an exciting platform for educators, researchers, and creators to showcase their projects and research in poster form to a general audience consisting of peers, educators, and experts. Service-Learning Malaysia (SULAM) emphasizes active student involvement in solving societal issues using the knowledge and skills acquired through the curriculum. The carnival serves as a platform to highlight the impact of the SULAM project in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and fostering holistic community development.
Themed "Adaptive Learning for a Changing World: Embracing Innovation in Teaching and Learning", the carnival serves as an important platform for academics, educators, and students to showcase innovations in teaching and learning and promote SULAM to foster community-based education. This event is in line with the nation's aspirations to develop resilient graduates and increase social awareness who can make meaningful contributions to society.
Hopefully this victory and recognition will inspire UPM academic officers to provide the best service and contribution to the community.
