Serdang, 3 July – Congratulations to Gabungan 1 for winning 2 awards, namely the Best Parade Award and the Best Discipline Award for the Parade, as well as Fifth Place for the Overall Parade in conjunction with the Opening Ceremony of the UPM 2025 Staff Sports Championship (SUSTAF) on 30 June. The ceremony, which was full of sportsmanship, was officiated by YBhg. Dato' Prof. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Farhan bin Mohd Sadullah, Vice-Chancellor, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) at the UPM Stadium. The ceremony was also enlivened by the presence of senior UPM officers, namely Mr. Muhazzam bin Mansor (UPM Registrar), Ms. Siti Amira binti Shukor (UPM Bursar), Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hamiruce bin Marhaban (Director, UPM Sports Academy) and Mr. Muhammad Malik bin Ahmad Tobias (Deputy Director of Athlete and Staff Development, UPM Sports Academy).

A total of eight coalitions participated in the parade competition by presenting a variety of creative performances along with the theme of the coalition's clothing and mascot. Each coalition gave its best in highlighting the spirit of sportsmanship and togetherness as well as the involvement of staff across the coalition's PTJ and position levels.

The Coalition 1 (G1) Parade Contingent was also joined by the Dean of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences, Dean of the Faculty of Human Ecology, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Head of the Laboratory of the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, all Chief Administrators of the four PTJs, Academic Officers and Non-Academic Officers who worked together to make the G1 parade a success in line with the team's motto of "Gerak Sekata, Menang Bersama".

Congratulations are also extended to all contingents for their team spirit and dedication in making this event a success. Hopefully this tournament can continue to foster a healthy lifestyle and strengthen brotherhood among UPM citizens.
