SERDANG, Oct 16 - Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) through the Faculty of Engineering (FK) and Iconix Consulting Sdn Bhd (ICONIX) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in training and development of human capital and R&D research and development.

Through this MoU, UPM in general and the Faculty of Engineering in particular will be able to engage in R&D activities in the use of high technology in ARM Embedded System technology and software design for IoT. .

ICONIX was previously named the ARM University Program (AUP) Alliance Partner and Arm University Program (AUP) Training Provider. Through this MoU ICONIX has also offered to sponsor a set of ARM teaching tools for the use of UPM faculty and students for teaching and learning purposes.
