Serdang, August 21, 2019 - The UPM Aerospace Engineering Department in collaboration with MySET has hosted a Workshop on Route to Certified Technician seminar. The workshop was held at the Level 2 Seminar Hall for 2 hours beginning at 9:00 am. Invited speaker is Ts. Ricky Liew. The speaker is the Adjunct Professor at the department. He is the Head of SR Aviation Engineering Sdn Bhd in Aircraft Engineering and Equipment Systems Design and Industry Solutions, Malaysia Aero Industry 4.0 and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) 4.0, Engineering Management Competency Development.

 Attendees are technical officers of the Faculty of Engineering. This seminar is dedicated to assisting engineers towards career development as a Technical Professional.

 Through this seminar, the speaker will guide participants in obtaining the MBOT (BEM) professional technician degree through online registration of Assistant Engineers. Hopefully with this effort, the Faculty of Engineers at the Faculty has the necessary professional qualifications and helps the Faculty of Engineering become more competitive with other universities.
