Serdang, 12 August 2022 – The Read@Uni Committee of the Faculty of Engineering led by Mr. Mohammad Arif Bin Johari organized the Read@ENG program at Laman Sutera at the faculty level. This hybrid reading program was held for the first time after the COVID-19 pandemic hit the country. This program aims to promote reading program activities among students, staff and lecturers as well as the needs of the Read@Uni Reading Corner organized by the Sultan Abdul Samad Library. This competition is one of the awards that will be contested in conjunction with UPM's Service Quality and Innovation Day (HKIP) 2022. The Read@ENG Series 1 activity hosted by Miss Maisarah Mohamed at 11.00 am started with a reading session by commentator Dr. Ahmad Salahuddin Mohd Harithuddin with the title of the book 'Muhammad's Biography Based on the Earliest Sources'. Next, the reading session continued with commentator Prof. Assoc. Dr. Siti Ujila Masuri with the title of the book 'Allah Dalam Hati Anakku'. Participants are limited to 20 people on Laman Sutera and 40 people on Zoom Meeting and UPM Faculty of Engineering Facebook. This program is very beneficial to Faculty members to increase interest in reading, enrich knowledge and general understanding in addition to being able to improve critical and creative thinking. The program continued with a question and answer session between participants and commentators at Laman Sutera. Finally, the session of giving souvenirs and appreciation to two (2) commentators by the chairman and the program ends at 12.00 noon.
