6th March 2024, Faisalabad, Pakistan-Congratulations Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd Sapuan Bin Salit for being awarded the Life Time Achievement KnowTex Award 2024 during the International Conference on Knowledge Based Textiles (ICKT-24), on 5 to 6 March 2024 held at the National Textile University, Faisalabad, Pakistan. He was selected by the Management Committee of the Grand Challenge Fund (GCF-63), through a careful and strict selection process. The committee decided that he was chosen because of his high performance in developing Composite Materials technology.

Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd Sapuan Bin Salit was also invited to deliver a keynote speech entitled Development and Characterization of Graphene Nanoplatelet (GNP) Reinforced Polylactic Acid (PLA) Composites for Electric Vehicle Battery Packs during the conference. This proves that his expertise is elevated in the Composite Materials community at the international level. His success is very impressive and is a catalyst for the Faculty of Engineering to continue to excel.
