Engineering Testing Services (ETS FK UPM) Achieves MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accreditation

7 August 2026 — Engineering Testing Services, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia (ETS FK UPM), is pleased to announce that the Material Characterization Laboratory (MCL) has been awarded MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation, No. SAMM 1265, for the Chemical testing scope.

This accreditation recognises the laboratory's competence in conducting testing consistently and in accordance with the requirements of the MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard.

This accreditation reflects the commitment of ETS FK UPM to providing competent, reliable and high-quality testing services to its customers.

Through this accreditation, the Material Characterization Laboratory (MCL) provides testing facilities using the PerkinElmer Spectrum 3 FTIR instrument for qualitative infrared spectral analysis.
