August,28 - A group of students and researchers from Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia won range of awards during the 'Innovate Malaysia Design Competition 2014'.
The competition is open to all final year undergraduate engineering or computer science students in Malaysia and more than 400 final students took part from 23 Universities.
Apart from promoting innovation culture and mindsets among university graduates,this competition also aims to enhance knowledge and skill set in practical engineering and promote greater interest in engineering design, and to promote more industry and university collaboration.
Altera, Cedec, Intel, Keysight Technologies, Mathworks, Microsoft, National Instruments and Silterra, Talent Corp, Dream Catcher, IEM, Crest, KDI, Techsource and Terasic were the organizers of this competition which the grand finale was held at G Hotel, Penang.
