His appointment which begins this February until January 2018 would be able to create a very good opportunity for Universiti Putra Malaysia and Germany in academic linkages. Apart from acting in an advisory capacity,  Humboldt Ambassador Scientist would disseminate information about Germany as a research location at universities and research institutions, focussing particularly on the Foundation’s sponsorship programmes and international network.
