Digital Transformation @ Faculty of Engineering

INTRODUCTION

The Digital Transformation Division, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is committed to advancing the implementation of the Faculty’s Digital Transformation in alignment with the UPM ICT Strategic Framework as well as the Digital First initiative by the Ministry of Digital Malaysia. This initiative aims to enhance the way we work, teach, and make decisions through a more efficient, secure, and high-impact digital approach.

 

The five (5) main pillars of the UPM ICT Strategic Framework are as follows:

1. Efficient Digital Services that Meet and Exceed Expectations
2. ICT Facilities as Enablers for High-Impact Research
3. ICT Products that Provide Value to Stakeholders
4. Best Learning Experience Through Digital Education
5. Implementation of an Integrated Smart Campus that Prioritizes User Experience

1. Enhancing service efficiency through digitalisation and automation.
2. Leveraging data to support more accurate and strategic decision-making.
3. Enriching teaching and research experiences through advanced technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI).
4. Ensuring data security and compliance in accordance with established standards.
