GOALS

  • To be the leading expert in the fundamentals of control theories and their applications in the industry to enhance quality of life for the local and international communities

 

OBJECTIVES

  • To contribute to knowledge in control engineering and related fields through systematic and comprehensive research
  • To educate the community on control engineering applications and principles to enhance productivity and improve quality

 MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

1.The CSSP has published 105 journal papers and 43 conference papers out of which most of these papers have been cited in IEEE Explorer/Scopus.

2.The CSSP members have played key roles in organizing The 10th Asian Control Conference (ASCC 2015), Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

3.The CSSP was granted 4 Copyrights & 2 Patents (granted)& 1 (filed)

4.The CSSP has produced 29 graduates (7 PhD and 22 MSc) and there are 42 postgraduate students who are conducting research for their respective degrees at present.

5.Members of the CSSP has contributed in developing National Occupational Skill Standard for Industrial Instrumentation Standard and Control Operation, and process control

6.Winning Robot Competitions(National and International) and finalist of Innovate Malaysia Competitions and finalist of Schneider Electric competition
